Ralf Borghoff, geb. 1971
erhielt seinen ersten Klavierunterricht mit 13 Jahren bei dem Organisten seiner Heimatpfarre in Steinfurt. Nach dem ersten Orgelunterricht war er von 1988 – 1997 als Organist und Chorleiter in Burgsteinfurt tätig.Von 1990 – 1995 studierte er das Fach kath. Kirchenmusik an der Robert-Schumann-Musikhochschule in Düsseldorf, welches er mit dem A-Examen abschloss. Seine Lehrer waren dort Prof. Paul Heuser (Orgel), Prof. Wolfgang Seifen (Improvisation), Prof. Hans Elmar Bach (Theorie) und Prof. Raimund Wippermann (Chorleitung).
Nach Anstellungen in Wadersloh und Ahaus ist Ralf Borghoff seit 2013 als Dekanatskirchenmusiker für das Erzbistum Paderborn in Erwitte tätig. 2016 wurde dort die deutschlandweite erste große Orgel von Bernard Aubertin (Jura/F) installiert. Er ist künstlerischer Leiter der jährlichen Konzertreihe mit internationalen Künstlern an der Aubertin-Orgel in Erwitte. Ralf Borghoff besuchte u. a. Meisterkurse bei Daniel Roth (Paris), Michel Bouvard (Toulouse), Wolfgang Seifen (Berlin) u. a.. Er ist Mitglied der GdO und Vorstandsmitglied des Diözesanverbandes der Pueri Cantores, Paderborn. Von 1991 – 2003 war er Referent für Chorleitung, Gehörbildung und Theorieunterricht beim Internationalen Chorseminar in Österreich (in Zusammenarbeit mit der Musikhochschule Wien).
Konzerttätigkeiten in Deutschland, Frankreich, Niederlande, Österreich u. a. runden seine künstlerischen Tätigkeiten ab.

Ralf Borghoff, born in 1971,
was given his first piano lessons at the age of 13 by the organist of his home parish in Steinfurt.After his first organ lessons, he worked as an organist and conductor in Burgsteinfurt from 1988 – 1997. From 1990 – 1995 he studied the subject catholic liturgical music at the Robert-Schumann-conservatory in Düsseldorf, which he succeeded with a university degree of A-finals. In 2016, the Germany-wide first large organ by Bernard Aubertin (Jura/F) was installed there, which Ralf Borghoff supervised as the titular organist and custos.
Ralf Borghoff attended master classes of i.a. Daniel Roth (Paris), Michel Bouvard (Toulouse), and Wolfgang Seifen (Berlin).
He is a member of the GdO and board member of the diocesan association of the Pueri Cantores, Paderborn. From 1991 – 2003, he was a speaker for choral conducting, aural training and theory lessons at the international choir seminar in Austria (in cooperation with the conservatory in Vienna).
Concert activities in i.a. Germany, France, the Netherlands and Austria complement his artistic work.
